to all 8 locations, but I’ve been to 4 (and gotten
takeout from 2 others), and I can honestly say every single
one of them serves up a melt-in-your mouth steak.” |

ONION: “South Philly quality in northern suburbia – ya
gotta love it! How do they do it? One key is the rolls.
A guy at the Abington S&HF told me they make the dough
centrally and deliver it to all 8 locations, where the
rolls are then baked on premises. Of course, S&HF has
the meat/cheese/onion thing down too.” |

BELLE: “I discovered S&HF when I was dating a
guy from Doylestown. He knew I loved cheese steaks, so
after we went to the Michener Museum he took me to dinner
at S&HF just a few blocks away. Sound romantic? It
actually was. And was my cheese steak delish? You’d
better believe it was!” |
