A startling preview of the 22nd Century

With Geno’s Steaks getting more and more colorful and glitzy, Pat’s King of Steaks has partnered with the Royal Family of Dubai to create a mammoth joint (above left) on its original corner of 9th and Wharton.

There is still a line around the block, but now, when you finally get to the entrance, there is a lightning-fast elevator ride to the 49th floor, where you are greeted with the familiar “Next!” Be advised to know what you want, and to have your money ready.
